2015 C-STEM 1st Place Winners
TeWinkle's Robotic teams participated in UC Davis' 2015 C-STEM RoboPlay Competition held at Orange County Department of Education in May, 2015. In just their second year, TeWinkle's "Bots" team placed 1st in the So. Cal. region and 2nd in the state of California. The "Dancing with the Stars" video entry also received 1st place in the middle school division. Congratulations to the robotics students and their teachers, Ms. Motamed and Ms. Kling for this accomplishment!




2014 C-STEM Competition Winners
With less than four months to prepare, the TeWinkle Robotics Club competed in the UC Davis' 2014 C-STEM Day held at UC Irvine in May, 2014. With the support of their teacher, Ms. Motamed and the librarian, Ms. Kling, the two teams were rewarded for their efforts with a third place and fifth place finish. They also won the Teamwork Award. Great accomplishment!

Congratulations to Ms. Yassi Motamed and Mrs. Terry Kling for being recognized as UC Davis' Teachers of the Year for 2014. The criteria for their selection included:

COMING FALL, 2015...
'PROJECT LEAD THE WAY'
Through OCDE's Consortium grant funding, TeWinkle will offer a new elective Fall, 2015. It will incorporate Project Lead the Way's, Gateway to Technology curriculum. The foundation units include: Design & Modeling and Automation & Robotics.
In the Spring, 2016, TeWinkle students will complete a specialization unit which will be further enhanced when they attend Estancia. This is a pathway to Estancia High School's Engineering Program. We are thrilled to offer these new courses to our students.
